We're here to ensure your experience with our rideshare service is smooth, safe, and enjoyable. This guide provides helpful information and support options for using the SavoRide app.

All-in-One Access: SavoRide offers a seamless experience for both drivers and riders with our Single Sign-On (SSO) feature. One account, full control.

As a Rider: Send your ride request, let the drivers bid for the ride and select the ride that best suits your budget. Empower your journey!

As a Driver: Receive a ride request, set your price, or accept the suggested price, and submit a bid for the ride that best suits your earning goals. Enjoy your financial freedom!

How SavoRide Works

  • Sign Up / Log In: Use your single SavoRide account to log in as a driver or rider.
  • Book a Ride: Riders can submit ride requests for bids, while drivers can review ride requests and submit bids.
  • Driver Bid: Drivers can bid on available ride requests, while riders can accept the best offer that meets their needs.
  • Enjoy Your Ride: Once the bid is accepted, meet up and hit the road. Track your ride in real-time for a safe and smooth experience.
  • Reward Points: Refer others and/or provide rating/feedback to earn reward points. Riders also earn reward points for every ride completed; accumulated points can be redeemed for a gift card.

1. Getting Started

1.1 Downloading the App

  • iOS Users: Visit the App Store, search for "SavoRide," and tap "Get" to download the app.
  • Android Users: Visit the Google Play Store, search for "SavoRide," and tap "Install" to download the app.

1.2 Creating an Account

  1. Open the SavoRide app.
  2. Tap "Sign Up."
  3. Enter your phone number, email, and create a password.
  4. Follow the prompts to verify your phone number.
  5. Complete your profile by adding your name and payment method.

1.3 Booking a Ride

  1. Open the app and enter your destination in the "Where to?" field.
  2. Select your preferred ride type (e.g., standard, premium, shared).
  3. Confirm your pickup location and tap "Confirm Ride."
  4. You'll receive details about your driver and vehicle. Track your ride in real-time until pickup.

1.4 Ride Cancellation Policy

  • Rider Cancellations & No-Shows: Riders can cancel for free within 5 minutes if the driver hasn’t arrived; after that, cancellation or no-show fees apply. Repeated cancellations may lead to account suspension, and refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours via the app.
  • Driver Cancellations & Accountability: Drivers may cancel for safety or if the riders delays beyond 5 minutes. Frequent driver cancellations may result in penalties. SavoRide may also cancel rides in rare cases, and disputes are reviewed fairly with final decisions made by SavoRide.

2. Managing Your Account

2.1 Updating Profile Information

  1. Tap the profile icon in the app.
  2. Select "Account Settings."
  3. Update your name, email, or phone number, and save changes.

2.2 Changing Payment Method

  1. Go to "Payment" in the app menu.
  2. Select "Add Payment Method" or choose an existing method to edit.
  3. Enter new payment details and save.

2.3 Resetting Your Password

  1. On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?"
  2. Enter your registered email or phone number.
  3. Follow the instructions sent to reset your password.

3. Safety Features

3.1 Share Your Trip

How to Share: During a ride, tap "Share Trip Status" to send your live location and trip details to a friend or family member.

3.2 Emergency Assistance

In-App SOS: In an emergency, tap the "Safety" icon and select "Emergency Assistance" to contact local authorities. Your location and trip details will be shared automatically.

3.3 Ride Verification

  • Before Your Ride: Always verify the driver’s name, vehicle make/model, and license plate number displayed in the app before entering the vehicle.
  • Both driver and rider should check and match the OTP before entering the vehicle and before the ride begins.

3.4 User Verification and Status

You’ll always know who you’re riding with—or who you’re picking up.

🟢 Green Badge – Fully Verified
This profile has successfully passed all identity and document checks. Trusted member of the SavoRide community.

🟠 Amber Badge – Verification Pending
This user has registered and submitted required details. ⏳ Verification in progress by our admin team.

🔴 Red Badge – Verification Issue
A critical concern has been identified in this user’s verification details. Interaction may be limited until resolved.

4. Ride Options

4.1 Standard Rides

  • STANDARD: Affordable and comfortable rides for up to four riders.
  • COMFORT: Newer cars with extra legroom or Electric Cars
  • STANDARD-LARGE: Group up to 6 people

4.2 Premium Rides

  • PREMIUM: Luxury rides with professional drivers (Black).
  • PREMIUM-LARGE: Luxury rides for group of 6 with professional drivers (Black SUV).
  • All classes with higher-end vehicles with more amenities for an elevated experience.

4.3 Wheelchair Accessible Rides

Specialized vehicles equipped for wheelchair accessibility.

5. Payment & Billing

5.1 Ride Fare Estimate

Estimate Fare: Before confirming a ride, you'll see an estimated fare based on distance, time, and traffic conditions.

5.2 Receipts

Accessing Receipts: After completing a ride, a receipt will be emailed to you. You can also view past receipts under "Ride History" in the app.

5.3 Handling Payment Issues

Dispute a Charge: If you notice any incorrect charges, go to "Ride History," select the ride, and tap "Report an Issue." Our support team will assist you.

6. Ratings & Feedback

Leave Feedback: Your input helps us improve our service. After each ride, you have the option to provide detailed feedback.

6.1 Rating Your Driver

After Your Ride: Rate your driver based on your experience and answering the rating questions. You can also leave comments.

Five objective questions to rate and provide feedback:

  • Timeliness: Was the rider ready and on time at the pickup location?
  • Communication: Did the rider clearly communicate their location and any special instructions?
  • Respectfulness: Was the rider respectful to you and your vehicle during the trip?
  • Cleanliness: Are you satisfied with the rider’s effort to keep the vehicle clean?
  • Overall Experience: Would you accept another ride request from this rider?

6.2 Rating Your Rider

After Your Ride: Rate your passenger based on your experience and answering the rating questions. You can also leave comments.

Five objective questions to rate and provide feedback:

  • Driver Professionalism: Are you satisfied with your driver professionalism? Consider their attitude, communication, and attention to safety.
  • Ride Comfort: Was the vehicle clean and comfortable throughout your ride?
  • Punctuality: Was the driver on time and followed the most efficient route?
  • Driving Skills: Are you pleased with the smoothness, safety, and traffic law adherence of your driver?
  • Overall Experience: Would you recommend this driver/service to others based on your trip?

7. REWARDS: Earning and Redeeming Points

7.1 Earning Points

7.1.1. Loyalty Rewards: Earn Points for Each Ride

How It Works:

  • Every time you complete a ride using our app, you automatically earn points.
  • Points are based on the distance and fare of each ride.

Example:

  • Short Ride (1-5 miles): Earn 10 points.
  • Medium Ride (6-15 miles): Earn 25 points.
  • Long Ride (16+ miles): Earn 50 points.

7.1.2. Referral Rewards: Earn Points for Referrals

How It Works:

  • Invite friends and family to join the app using your unique referral code.
  • When they sign up and complete their first ride, you earn bonus points.

Example:

  • Each successful referral earns you 100 points.
  • There’s no limit to how many people you can refer… the more referrals mean more points!

7.1.3. Rating Rewards: Earn Points for Ratings/Feedback

How It Works:

  • After each ride, rate your experience and leave feedback.
  • Ratings and feedback help us improve, and you get rewarded for sharing your thoughts.

Example:

  • Submit a rating and feedback after your ride: Earn 5 points.
  • Participate in occasional surveys for bonus points.

7.2 Redeeming Points

7.2.1 Redeem Your Points for Gift Cards

How It Works: Once you've accumulated enough points, you can redeem them for gift cards directly through the app.

Steps to Redeem:

  1. Open the app and navigate to the "Rewards" section.
  2. Choose "Redeem Points."
  3. Browse available gift card options.
  4. Select the gift card you want and confirm your selection.
  5. Your digital gift card will be delivered to your email or can be accessed directly in the app.

Example:

  • 500 points = $5 gift card.
  • 1000 points = $10 gift card.
  • 2500 points = $25 gift card.

Note: Points cannot be redeemed for cash and are only redeemable for gift cards offered within the app.
